Terms of Use

Version and last update: Türkçe (esas metin)

The Turkish version is the prevailing text.

These terms apply to the use of www.university.com.tr and to the university admission and student visa support offered under the Turquoise Education brand. If you sign a written service agreement with us, it prevails over these terms where they differ.

1. Who we are

Turquoise Education Group, operating under the brand Turquoise Education ("we", "us"). Address: Merkez Mahallesi Hasat Sokak No:12A Sisli, Istanbul, Turkey. Contact: contact@university.com.tr, +90 532 676 35 11.

2. What we do, and what we do not do

We advise international students on studying in Türkiye, help them choose universities and programs, prepare and submit their university applications, follow up acceptance and invitation letters, and guide them through the student visa and residence permit process. We are not a university: we do not award degrees, teach courses or decide admissions. We are not a government body, not affiliated with any government, and not a law firm.

3. Our fees

Our admission guidance is free for students unless we agree otherwise with you in writing before any work starts. You pay the costs set by third parties directly to them, for example university application and tuition fees, deposits, exam fees, visa and residence permit fees, health insurance, translation, notarisation, courier, flights and accommodation.

4. No guarantee of admission, visa or residence permit

Admission decisions are made solely by the universities, and visa and residence permit decisions solely by the Turkish authorities (Turkish consulates and the Presidency of Migration Management). We cannot influence these decisions and cannot guarantee that an admission, scholarship, visa or residence permit will be granted, or when. Requirements, quotas, deadlines and fees are set by the universities and authorities and may change at short notice. Figures such as "93% admitted within a month" describe our past results and are not a promise for an individual application.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give complete, accurate and genuine information and documents, and tell us promptly about any change.
  • Meet the deadlines and appointments set by us, the universities and the authorities, and pay third-party fees on time.
  • Comply with the rules of your university and with Turkish law, including the rules on entry, residence and work.

We are not responsible for the consequences of incomplete, inaccurate or false information or documents, or of deadlines missed on your side. Submitting forged documents ends our support immediately and may be reported to the universities and authorities concerned.

6. Third parties

Universities, insurers, translators, courier companies and other providers act under their own terms and are responsible for their own services. We help you deal with them, but we do not guarantee their performance.

7. Information on this website

Our guides and articles are general information, researched and dated with care (see our editorial policy). They are not legal advice and may not reflect the latest regulatory change; tuition, scholarship and living cost figures are typical values and must be confirmed with the university or authority before you rely on them. Contact us for advice on your own situation.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website or its forms: no automated scraping that burdens the site, no attempts to break its security, no spam, and no uploading of malicious files or of other people's documents without their permission.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability for a paid service is limited to the fee paid for it. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence (Turkish Code of Obligations art. 115) or any non-waivable consumer right under Law No. 6502.

10. Intellectual property

The texts, images, logo and design of this website belong to Turquoise Education Group or are used with permission and may not be copied or used commercially without written consent. Short quotations with a link to the source page are welcome. University names, logos and campus photographs belong to their owners.

11. Personal data

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice and the Cookie Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. Consumers may also apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court of their place of residence within the monetary limits set each year under Law No. 6502.

13. Changes

If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms; the date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. The Turkish version is the prevailing text: Kullanım Koşulları.
