There are two main ways to fund your studies in Turkey: the government's fully funded Turkiye Scholarships, and merit scholarships offered by individual universities.
Turkiye Scholarships (Turkiye Burslari)
Turkiye Scholarships is the Turkish government's fully funded scholarship for international students, and one of the most comprehensive in the world. It is highly competitive, and you apply directly through the official government portal, usually during an application window early in the year.
It covers your university placement and tuition, a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, a one-year Turkish language course, and a one-time round-trip flight.

University scholarships
Many private (foundation) universities offer their own merit scholarships, often as tuition discounts from around 25% up to 100%. Some are automatic based on your grades, while others require a separate application. These can make a private university surprisingly affordable.
Other funding
You may also find scholarships from your home country's government, international organisations, or specific faculties. Combining a university discount with careful budgeting often makes studying in Turkey very manageable.
