Free Eligibility Check for Turkish Universities
Ten quick answers show which universities and routes are open to you, what is missing, and what it would cost. Then an advisor reviews your result for free.

How the check works
The check applies the general admission rules described in our guides on admission requirements, entrance exams and English-taught programs: the qualification each degree needs, how state and private universities admit international students, and the language proof each kind of program asks for.
Your budget is compared with the same tuition and living cost ranges as our study cost calculator. Universities set their own minimum grades and scores, which change every year, so the check shows which routes are open rather than promising admission; an advisor confirms the details.

Frequently asked questions
Who can study at a Turkish university as an international student?
Foreign nationals with a secondary school diploma recognised as equivalent to a Turkish high school diploma can apply for a bachelor's degree; a recognised bachelor's or master's degree is needed for graduate study. Dual citizens and Turkish citizens who studied abroad follow special rules.
Can I study in Turkey without YÖS?
Yes. Many private (foundation) universities admit international students on high school grades alone. Most state universities ask for TR-YÖS, their own YÖS, SAT or recognised national results.
What grades do I need to study in Turkey?
Each university sets its own minimum average. Most programs are open with a satisfactory average; medicine, dentistry and pharmacy ask for the highest grades, often with a science background.
Do I need IELTS to study in Turkey?
For English-taught programs, usually IELTS, TOEFL or the university's own English exam; without one you can start with a one-year English preparatory program. Turkish-taught programs ask for TÖMER or a Turkish preparatory course.
Is the eligibility check a decision on my application?
No. It applies the general rules from our guides to your answers. Universities decide admission; an advisor checks your documents against their current requirements for free.
