7.MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Memorial Healthcare Group is a private healthcare provider in Turkey. The first hospital is Şişli Memorial Hospital, which was established in 2000. The group has 6 branches hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, eye health centers, and laboratories. It is the first hospital in Turkey to receive the international JCI accreditation certificate. It is the first private hospital to receive a license for organ (liver and kidney) transplantation and related laboratory services from the Ministry of Health in March 2004. The first blood-incompatible liver transplant was performed on children in Turkey.

The American Hospital was founded in 1920 under the leadership of Admiral Mark Lambert Bristol and is the first non-profit private hospital in Turkey. The American Hospital started to serve in Istanbul Bazaar with 45 beds and three operating rooms on August 20, 1920.
